We have lots of things growing in the garden – I’m (this is Ingrid) very excited. On the left is one of our tomato plants – we have four – and on the right the radishes. I pulled one out of the ground the other day and they aren’t ready yet. My friend Toby told me about a dish he and his wife Kristen had at Blue Hill in NYC last year – fresh whole radishes with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a little sea salt – I can’t wait to try it out with our radishes!

Last year we filled out our landscape on the side yard with a couple of plants and some more bulbs. Ingrid bought the bulbs last Fall and planted them…this Spring, an awkward looking plant emerged from the ground…we thought that some weird bulbs got mixed into the bin with the Alliums…but after examining the greenery, we decided that the new Alliums looked similar to the old…what ended up emerging were these giant softball-sized Alliums that blew us away…these pictures don’t do them justice- these things are huge!
